About
- Motorsport UK announced in September that Ruan has been selected to join 17 other young talents from a range of racing series for the Motorsport UK Academy sporting excellence course 2023/24. The Enhanced DiSE course is delivered in collaboration with Loughborough College.
- Ruan races in the Junior 1000 Ecosse Challenge with navigator and mentor Ian McRae, and assisted by Marc McCubbin and the AM Motorsport Services team (Instagram). All made possible by the fantastic team at Junior Rally Scotland, whose training includes driving skills and car control, rallycraft, fitness and nutrition, communication and interviews, car mechanics and the psychology of rallying [video]; And with much appreciation to our sponsors.
